Arnold Schwarzenegger Makes Political Prediction For Donald Trump’s Future

Former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger said during an interview last week that he believes that Republicans make a serious mistake if Donald Trump were to become the party’s nominee again because he will lose to President Joe Biden in the general election.

Schwarzenegger told CNN’s Dana Bash that “no one” in the media covered the January 6th riot correctly because the focus was, “Oh, let’s get those right-wingers. Let’s put them to jail.”

“But no one really has gotten into why was it that way?”  Schwarzenegger said. “What powers do people have that they’re really upset and angry at government?” Schwarzenegger said.

Schwarzenegger said that false claims about the 2020 election were only “the straw that breaks the camel’s back” and that those claims alone were not enough to motivate people to drive to Washington, D.C.

“I think that it was just such an unbelievable dissatisfaction,” he said. “There’s so much anger.”

Schwarzenegger said that he was not concerned that Trump is currently leading the 2024 GOP primary polls because he believes that Trump won’t be able to win the White House again.

“He is going to go, maybe get the Republican nomination. Then, when it comes down to the actual election, there is too many people now that have seen what he did, as President, that I think when it comes to the majority, on Election Day, I think they will see the difference, between one or the other,” he said. “And believe me, I’m not the first one, to say, ‘Hey, this is really great to have Biden back as president.’”
