Biden Forgets What Office Political Candidates Are Running For While Campaigning In Their State

President Joe Biden mixed up the offices that two Pennsylvania Democratic candidates are running for while he campaigned in their state this week.

Biden traveled to Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania on Tuesday to give a speech at Wilkes University about his plan to clamp down on Second Amendment rights.

Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro is running to be the state’s next governor while Lt. Governor John Fetterman, who is 6-feet-8-inches tall, is running for one of the state’s U.S. Senate seats.

“Think about doing me a favor,” Biden told the audience. “Please, please elect the attorney general to the Senate [and] elect that big ole boy to be governor.”

The National Republican Senatorial Committee posted the clip to social media, writing: “A confused @JoeBiden asks Pennsylvania to elect the ‘Attorney General to the Senate’ and ‘elect that big ‘ol boy to be Governor.’”

“That big ‘ol boy is socialist man child @JohnFetterman who is running for Senate, not Governor,” the NRSC added.
