Dr Jordan B Peterson premiers his new show “Vision & Destiny” on DailyWire+ this week, where the psychologist assesses how clarity and direction can unlock the true potential for a desired life.
Peterson has created the five-part series so viewers can learn how to discover passions, create a vision for life, and make the right choices to bring it to fruition.
In the first episode, Peterson explains why having a clear vision is essential for success and how having a strong vision can create a future that will withstand any potential challenges and lead to desired outcomes.
“The only alternative to having a vision is having a very bad vision,” Peterson said. “That’s all there is.”
In other words, the psychologist said humans either develop a plan that works or one that doesn’t.
Peterson explains the difference between a good and bad vision and shows how to navigate the infinite paths to a future life that it could take to create a strong vision to withstand catastrophe.
“If your goal is to develop a vision that will sustain you through catastrophe and the reality of atrocity,” Peterson said. “Then you can develop that vision, and you develop that vision in part by being willing to undertake — exposing yourself to the worst possible catastrophes of life.”
Peterson has been revered as one of the most important public intellectuals in modern times.
His work has captivated millions worldwide with biblical lectures, which shine a spotlight on the most important book in the history of mankind as an academic work to be taken seriously in the modern era.
In the follow-up to his lectures on the Book of Genesis, Jordan has also joined formidable theological and literary scholars for an in-depth review of the Book of Exodus.
Peterson also released “Logos and Literacy,” a documentary tour of the Museum of the Bible that looks at the Bible and its influence on the world. Peterson interviews historians and scholars about the important book and how it still impacts the world today.
Future episodes of “Vision & Destiny” will include topics surrounding identity, purpose, and a path forward, which take on contentious topics in today’s society about sex and gender and rejecting hedonistic desires.
DailyWire+ will premier episode one, “Understanding Vision,” on February 17.
The following four episodes will be released on Fridays until March 17.
